| Common, living at low water and in the shallow sublittoral, usually on the larger algae encrusted with the chief food Membranipora membranacea, other bryozoans also eaten. This species has now been split into two taxa - P. quadrilineata and P. norvegica Sørenson, Rauch, Pola & Malaquias, 2020. The records here therefore are an aggregate. |
