Widespread living in muddy gravel in the Firth of Lorn, 20-30m, likely to be widespread throughout the area. Dead shells have been recorded from a number of localities especially before 1900 in the Firth of Clyde (Marshall, 1898b). Occasional dead shells found further offshore. |
