A small shell originally recorded as this species but now considered to be Aplysia punctata, found on the strandline at Traigh Mheilein, Harris in 1977 (Smith, 1977). Doubtful records from the Clyde: Gourock (Hennedy, 1852) and Ardrossan (Landsborough, 1845c).
