| Recorded as living in Loch Nevis (McIntyre, 1961) and Loch Etive (Gage, 1972). Living in muddy gravel in 25m off Lismore in 1994. Described by Jeffreys (1847) from Loch Fyne. Marshall (1897a) recorded it living from many localities and stated that his specimens were smaller than Jeffreys'. Many records from the Clyde. Records from the Hebrides Terrace and Slope in 800m-1400m (1973-1983) may be errors for an undescribed deeper water species. |
