Widespread, probably fairly common, living in shell gravel in shallow water and living amongst small algae and gravel around the roots of Corallina officinalis especially in areas with current. Also in Laminaria holdfasts. Dead shells widespread, locally abundant. A number of old records including Jeffreys (1867) and Marshall (1899b). |
