Single living specimens dredged from a bed of Serpula vermicularis 10-15m in Loch Creran and in a muddy Modiolus modiolus bed in 10-20m off Oban in 1993. Also living from weed washings in Clachan Sound in 1993. Dead shells rare. Specimens were dredged regularly by Jeffreys (1866) and Marshall (1899b, 1917a). |
