Living on the slope west of the Hebrides Terrace and Slope to below 700m, probably to below 2000m. Carnivorous. Recorded from Lamlash by Bryce (1872), probably a fossil. The record from Sutherland (Davies, 1989a) is an error for Colus gracilis. The record from Northern Ireland has not been checked and may be another misidentification of Colus gracilis. The species has been found living further south in St George's Channel. |
