Common living under boulders at low water and also inshore and offshore to 400m, Hebrides Terrace. Found amongst gravel and on hard substrates such as stones, dead shells, live Modiolus modiolus, amongst Serpula vermicularis, on artifacts and on bedrock. Said to feed on sponges and detritus. Dead shells common. Many old records. |
