| Rare, single specimens found on the shore living in cavities under Lithothamnion glaciale and under boulders in association with sipunculids. Crobeg, Lewis in 1982 (Smith, 1982b), Mealista, Lewis in 1977 (Smith, 1983b). Lough Swilly in 1986 (Nunn & Smith, 1987). Dead shells rare. Dredged off Oban in 1992. Old records from Skye (Jeffreys, 1866, 1867), Gairloch and Rum (Marshall, 1897a, 1914a) and the Clyde. |
