| There is an unconfirmed record from Lochboisdale, rather unlikely. Dead shells found Mullaghderg, Co Donegal by Brisco in 1970; and on the strandline, Lough Swilly in 1986 (Nunn & Smith, 1987) and Mulroy Bay in 1989 (Nunn, 1990b). Recorded by Grieve (1868) from Loch Ryan and by Nichols (1900) and Grainger & Praeger in Praeger (1889) from around the mouth of Lough Foyle. Also records from Lough Swilly. |
