Figured: S M Smith; Thompson & Brown, 1984 [p. 220]
Length: 38 mm

Fairly common, living in the southern part of the area. Reported to feed on various hydroids including Tubularia spp., which make them pink in colour, but probably they also feed on Securiflustra securifrons. All specimens we have seen have been white. Old records from Loch Ewe in 120m (Jeffreys, 1867) and the Clyde off Cumbrae.
