Figured: S M Smith
Length: 9 mm

Several specimens living in about 400m on the Hebrides Terrace in 1982. There are many records in SAMS MS lists for this area, but the specimens have not been seen. Dead shells, recorded from several localities by the authors have been in error for other species. The record from east of Barra in 88m in 1970 (Institute of Oceanographic Sciences) requires confirmation. Old records include those of Jeffreys (1869, a doubtful McAndrews record) and Marshall (1898a, fossil), mostly from the Clyde.
