Common living on the Hebrides Slope especially in a current. Marshall's specimens are believed to be from deep water off the Butt of Lewis. Fossil shells not uncommon in the North Minch. The record by R Preece from the Shiant Isles is probably such a fossil. Other records have proved to be juvenile Glycymeris glycymeris. |
