| Records of this species should be treated with caution as many examples have proved to be juvenile Limaria hians. Widespread but sparse, records usually of single individuals dredged living inshore and offshore in gravel. Dead shells widespread. Many very small juveniles on the Irish strandlines in 1989. Many old records. |
