| Living east of Barra in muddy sand with rocks, 72m in 1970 (Institute of Oceanographic Sciences, pers. comm.) and in muddy gravel or silt in 20-40m in the Firth of Lorn area 1992 and 1994. Unconfirmed record from Gairloch (Howson, 1991b). North of Lochranza and west of Ailsa Craig. Recorded from Gairloch (Gardiner, 1934). Several older records and records of dead shells. |
