| One specimen living amongst mud, stones and shell gravel in the Firth of Lorn in 110m in 1979. Found living on the shore of Lough Swilly in 1989 (J Light). Dead shells found off the Shiant Isles in 1969 (R Preece), Loch Carron in 1969, on Colonsay in 1992 (Street, 1995), on the shore of Lough Swilly in 1986 (Nunn & Smith, 1987) and in Loch Melfort. Also recorded from Skye and Loch Carron in 56m by Jeffreys (1867), from Lough Swilly and Lough Foyle (Jeffreys, 1879; Hart, 1892). Specimens also from the Clyde. |
