Widespread, sparse but locally common, living amongst the byssus of Mytilus edulis or in holdfasts of Laminaria spp. with numerous juveniles M. edulis, upon which it may feed, although the more likely prey is Flabelligera affinis. Re-identification of specimens supporting many records has shown that they are Odostomia angusta or O. eulimoides. Many old records. |
