Very common living on the Hebrides Slope below 1000m to at least 3000m. Recorded as dead shells from the Inner Sound and the Sound of Sleat by Jeffreys (1866) and in about 150m off The Maidens, northeast of Ireland (Jeffreys, 1859a; Hyndman, 1860). These records are likely to be in error. |
