Figured: Thompson, 1976 [Figs. 91,92c]
Shell Length: 50 mm Body Length: 120 mm

Common, living on muddy sand bottoms, although Thompson (1988) stated that it preferred clean rocky areas. Recorded from the Monach Isles in 1978 (SAMS), at low water amongst boulders. This is an unlikely habitat, nor is there suitable habitat just offshore (too sandy), possibly an error for Archidoris pseudoargus. Feeds on ascidians. Many old records from the Clyde.
