Recorded from several localities in the Firth of Lorn, living in muddy gravel and amongst Modiolus modiolus, 50-150m. Also west of the Stanton Banks (BGS) and on the Hebrides Terrace to about 600m (SAMS). Probably widespread. Dead shells have been recorded by a number of workers especially Marshall (1897a). |
