One dead shell found on White Strip Bank in 1971 (D W McKay, det. S M Turk). Recorded by Marshall (1898a). Also by Murray, Knight (1900) and Chumley (1918) from Skate Island, Loch Fyne, all these probably referring to Robertson (1886). These records all doubtful as P. affine appears to be a deepwater species. They may be juvenile Antalis entalis. Confirmed living in the Hebrides Slope in 1983. |
