Living in muddy gravel in Loch Eil (Pearson, 1972) and Lochs Creran and Etive (Gage, 1972). Also living in the Firth of Lorn in 60m amongst stones, dead shells and mud in 1994. The record from Skye (Hiscock & Covey, 1991) is in error for Chaetoderma nitidulum.
