A single dead shell found on Berneray in 1991 (C Street). Recorded from Cumbrae (Comely, 1973) and from Fairlie sands (Allen, 1962). Unlikely. Also noted from Lough Swilly and the Londonderry coast (Forbes & Hanley, 1853).
