| Recorded from several localities. Found living amongst small algae at low water in the Sound of Mull in 1983 (Smith & Gault, 1983). Recorded from Skye by Jeffreys (1866) and from Rathlin Island (Chaster, 1897c). This is a southern species which appears occasionally as far north as Lochaber. It is not easy to distinguish from small Mya spp. and all records should be substantiated. |
