Dead shells (not certainly identified as loose shells and pallets could not be matched) in cast-up driftwood on the west coast of Tiree, and also Magilligan Strand (Galwey, 1888), and Tory Island 'seen in several pieces of driftwood lying at one of the towns' (Hyndman, 1853). |
