| Scattered records of single individuals, living on bedrock 5-150m. Also taken on the Hebrides Slope in 1000m in 1983. Probably commoner than records indicate, being difficult to obtain by remote means and not usually seen by divers. Dead shells widespread, often worn. Many old records but few outside the Clyde. |
