| Common, in living in pebbly gravel at low water in Mulroy Bay (Nunn, 1996), which is its northern limit. There are several extremely doubtful records from Scotland, including Allen (1962) and Nature Conservancy Council reports, some of which have been checked and all found to be errors of identification for Venus casina. |
