Living at several localities in muddy gravel, 25-50m, in the Firth of Lorn in 1994 and 2003. One dead shell found in dredgings off Luing in 1983 (Smith, 1984a). Recorded by Jeffreys (1866) and Marshall (1912b) from many localities, from Gairloch in 55m, 1885 (Somerville). Also old records from the Clyde area.
